Modalities
Designed to Meet your goals and Cater to Your Needs
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation
PNF stands for Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, which is a type of stretching exercise that aims to improve flexibility, strength, and range of muscle activity and motion. It involves a combination of stretching and contracting muscles. There are several techniques, but they generally involve a stretch, followed by a contraction of the muscle being stretched, and then another stretch. PNF stretching is often used in rehabilitation settings and by athletes to improve performance and prevent injury.
Cross Fiber and Longitudinal Release
I use Cross Fiber Massage and Longitudinal Release as a duo to help realign the muscle fibers and then lengthen them. This is especially effective on contracted muscles that feel stuck and tight. It is a very intricate practice that is produces great results.
Cross fiber massage, also known as cross fiber friction, is a massage technique where pressure is applied across the muscle fibers and tendons. This technique is often used to break down adhesions (bands of rigid tissue) and reduce muscle tension. It can help increase blood flow to the affected area and promote healing. Cross fiber massage is commonly used in sports massage to target specific areas of muscle tightness or injury.
Longitudinal Release Massage is a therapeutic technique that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs. This type of massage involves applying slow, sustained pressure along the length of the muscle or fascia to stretch and elongate it. The goal is to improve flexibility, reduce pain, and restore balance to the body.
pin and Stretch Technique
Pin and stretch is a massage technique used to release tension in muscles and improve flexibility. It involves the therapist pinning down a specific area muscle or muscle group while the client actively stretches the muscle against the pressure. This technique helps lengthen muscles, improve range of motion, and reduce muscle soreness.
swedish
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.
Chair massage
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
Lomi Lomi
Lomi Lomi is a type of massage from Hawaii. It was passed down by the mystic healers also known as the Kahuna. It includes prayer, love, and intention. It draws upon prayer, “talking story” to help facilitating letting go and connecting the mind and body. It is known as “family massage” or loving hands as the spirit of aloha is channeled into the recipient. There are long fluid strokes akin to the waves of an ocean. It’s goal is to let go of stagnant energy, promote relaxation, eliminate toxins, and enhance total wellbeing.
PALLIATIVE CARE
As a former care taker I am experianced in special needs clients. I help ease stress by providing care and comfort. I channel love and positive energy . I become a conduit for peace and a sense of well-being. Depending on individual I custom tailor sessions that could include massage, sound healing, and energy work. This makes my client feel relaxed, eases discomfort , and helps with the transition process.
Quantum HEALInG
Energy Work
Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.
usui Holy Fire Reiki
Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The term Reiki is derived from two Japanese words: Rei, which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power," and Ki, which means "life force energy". The practice is based on the idea that a universal life force flows through everything and is essential for well-being . Reiki
aim to relax, ease stress and tension and promote overall balance and vitality. It is spiritual and energetic in nature and does not conflict with any religious practice. The modality involves the transfer of energy from the Reiki practitioner's hands to the patient's body. It is also believed to help with pain and anxiety management
Emotion Code SeSSion
Emotion Code was developed by Dr Bradley Nelson. Dr Nelson is an expert in Bionergetic Medicine and has been a holistic chiropractor since the early 90s . During that time he developed an alternative energy healing modality which helps address any energetic imbalances from emotions that may have been trapped in the body. This healing modality is extremely simple, quick, and effective. It has the potential to ease the burden of trauma and energetic distortions. This could lead to an increased sense of well being and lightness.
ho' oponopono
Ho’oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian healing technique that focusses the energies of forgiveness, love and gratitude into those areas of our being where we are holding on to memories that are no longer serving us. It is a technique that is so simple, yet so powerful. I go into deep meditation to channel the energies into the parts of the body where there are blockages so that the muscles can let go and the body can be rid of discomfort.
INHERITED & ANCESTRIAL TRAUMA HEALING
Quantum Healing Hypnosis (QHHT) is a technique developed by Dolores Cannon, a hypnotherapist and author. It's a form of deep hypnosis that aims to access the subconscious mind and facilitate physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
In a QHHT session, the practitioner guides the client into a deep trance state, typically to the "Somnambulistic" level, where the client is highly suggestible and can access their subconscious mind. The practitioner then asks questions to help the client:
· Access past lives or past events
· Release negative emotions and beliefs
· Connect with their Higher Self or inner wisdom
· Receive guidance and insights
· Facilitate physical and emotional healing
The goal of QHHT is to help clients overcome phobias, anxieties, and physical ailments by identifying and resolving underlying causes, often rooted in past experiences or past lives. Many practitioners and clients report positive results and personal growth from QHHT sessions.
INHERITED & ANCESTRIAL TRAUMA HEALING
Ancestral trauma refers the idea that the effects of trauma experienced by previous generations can be passed down to descendants. There is evidence of genetic tags being passed down in Mice as means of evolutionary defense called inherited epigenetics. This suggests that emotional and psychological impact of historical events may influence the well-being of of subsequent generations. In theory this may be unconsciously impacting us perhaps exhibiting itself as irrational fears, self sabotaging behaviors, and pervasive negative emotions, With use of prayer and Emotion Code I am able to help let go of trapped emotions and energetic distortions rebalancing the body and allowing for an improved sense of wellbeing.
